Org Settings - Holiday Schedules

What are Holiday Schedules used for?

Using a holiday schedule within the Capacity Console ensures that your Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are accurate during holidays. When you apply a holiday schedule to a project, the system will automatically pause the SLA timer on the specified holidays, so they won't be counted toward the SLA's completion time. This prevents tickets from appearing to breach their SLA simply because a holiday occurred.

How do I set up Holiday Schedules?

You can apply different holiday schedules to different projects, or select the same holiday schedule to multiple projects

  1. Go to Settings > Org Settings > Holiday Schedule inside of Capacity Console
  2. Click "+Add"
  3. If you'd like to use the pre-populated US Holiday Calendar:
    1. Name your calendar "US Holiday Calendar"
    2. Click Add Holidays and select the US Holidays option in the dropdown
    3. Click Apply
    4. You can add additional holidays to the list at the bottom of the screen in the Custom Holiday's section
  4. You can toggle off specific holidays on the right side of the screen
  5. You delete the entire list by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the section
