STEP ONE: Configure a connector to your channel
While hovering over the channel click the three dots. This will open a menu. In the menu click connectors.
STEP TWO: Locate "Incoming Webhook"
This connector usually shows at the top but it is possible you have to search for it. Once you have located it, click the button on the right side of the application.
STEP THREE: Provide a name and image
The values in here are important as they will show up when a message is sent to a channel. The name and image will show up as who sent the message.
STEP FOUR: Save the Webhook URL
After you hit the create button the webhook url is generated. Copy and save this url. The url will be used in dev platform to send the message to the right channel.
