SMS Campaigns

Overview

SMS Campaigns allow your team to send scheduled text messages to a targeted contact list. You can send a single message or build a multi-message sequence, with full control over timing and delivery.

To get started, navigate to CRM → Campaigns → SMS tab and click Create New Campaign.


Setting Up an SMS Campaign

SMS campaigns are created in two steps.

Step 1 — Campaign Details

All fields on this tab are required before you can proceed. The Save Campaign button will remain disabled until all fields are complete.

  • Campaign Name — Enter a unique name for your campaign.
  • Channel — Select SMS.
  • Send As Number — Select the outbound SMS line to send from.
  • Contact List — Select the list of contacts who will receive this campaign.
  • Campaign Owner — Assign an owner for this campaign.
  • Opt-In Acknowledgment — Check the box to confirm: "I understand that I am required to obtain and store opt-in approval for every mobile number texted." This is required to proceed.


Once all fields are complete, click Save Campaign to move to the Messages tab.


Step 2 — Messages

  • Message Type — Select Standard Messages.
  • Add Message — Compose your message(s). Messages support text, emojis, and attachments.
  • Set a send schedule for each message in your sequence.

 

Note: Once a campaign is set to Scheduled status, campaign details are locked and can no longer be edited. You may still adjust the send schedule for individual unsent messages.


Campaigns — SMS Tab

The SMS tab displays all SMS campaigns in a sortable table with the following columns:

  • Status - Campaign status
  • Campaign Name
  • Start Date
  • Created By
  • # of Messages
  • Contact List

Click any column header to sort. Use the search and filter options to narrow results by campaign name, status, start date, or SMS line.


Note: Archived campaigns are hidden from the default view. Filter by Archived status to find them.


Viewing SMS Campaign Results

Once a campaign is running or has been started and stopped, select View Campaign Details next to the three-dot menu to open the results page.

The Campaign Details page includes:

  • Message Timeline — Messages displayed in chronological order, oldest to newest.
  • Deliverability Results — Shown above each message in a collapsed bar. Hover for a quick summary or expand for a full delivery breakdown.
  • Campaign Status & Actions — Displayed in the right rail with the current status and available action buttons.





Stopping & Restarting an SMS Campaign

To stop a running or scheduled campaign, select Stop Campaign from the three-dot menu. Any unsent messages will have their schedules canceled and will not be delivered.

To restart a stopped campaign, select Restart Campaign. You will be taken to the Campaign Details tab, where you can rebuild the message schedule. No other campaign details can be changed at this point.
