CRM Campaigns Overview & Management

CRM Campaigns let your team send scheduled messages or place outbound calls to targeted contact lists at scale.

Campaigns support two channel types: SMS and Voice, each with its own setup flow, scheduling options, and lifecycle.

Users must be assigned the Campaign Manager role to access this feature. Once assigned, Campaign Managers can create, schedule, manage, and review campaigns from the Campaigns index.

To navigate to Campaigns, go to CRM in the left navigation and select Campaigns.

Access & Permissions

Access to Campaigns is controlled by two things:

  1. The Campaigns feature must be enabled for your organization.
  2. Users must be assigned the Campaign Manager role.

Voice campaigns require additional features to be enabled: CRM, Campaigns, and Voice. Users interacting with live calls during a Voice campaign must also have the Voice Agent role.

Campaigns

The Campaigns page is the home screen for all campaigns in your organization. Campaigns are organized into two tabs:

  • SMS — displays all SMS campaigns. Always visible when Campaigns is enabled.
  • Voice — displays all Voice Dialer campaigns. Only visible when the Voice feature is enabled for your org.

Each tab has its own columns, filters, and available actions. See the SMS Campaigns and Voice Dialer Campaigns articles for tab-specific details.

Managing Campaigns

From the Campaigns page, click the three-dot menu on any campaign row to take action. Available actions depend on the campaign's current status and channel type. See the Campaign Statuses article for a full breakdown.

Cloning a Campaign Any campaign can be cloned regardless of status. Cloning copies the campaign name (appending "- copy"), outbound line, and messages. It does not copy the contact list or schedule. Use cloning to quickly spin up a new campaign based on an existing one.

Archiving a Campaign Any campaign that is not currently Running can be archived. Archiving removes the campaign from the default index view but does not delete it. To find archived campaigns, filter the Campaign Index by Archived status.
