Automation App Actions
Dev Platform App Actions let users send and retrieve data from third party sources as well as take action via REST or SOAP apis. Now users can run individual App Actions directly from automations.
How to use App Actions in Automations
1) Select your automation triggers and conditions like normal
2) Select the “Take an App Action” option from the “Add action” button
3) Select an App from the Apps enabled in your App Center
4) Select an App Action from the list of available app actions and add variables
Your app actions should now run when the trigger for your automation fires, and the conditions are met. Please note, automation instances do not have robust error logs at this time. Users will want to test all automations thoroughly before enabling for live processes.
