Workflows Overview
Getting Started
Add a New Workflow
Workflow Builder
The builder is your playground to create, modify, publish, and run a workflow. You will be placed into the builder screen once you create a workflow or if you click edit from the 3-dot menu on the workflow tile. The workflow builder has the following components:
Steps and Apps Library
Editor
Publish & Run Options
Any changes made to the workflow while building are auto saved as a draft.
Workflow Steps
Steps are building blocks of the workflow. Each step type serves a different purpose and has step Name, Step Settings, and in some cases Step Variables.
To add a step to a workflow, drag from the left sidebar and drop it into the position where you want to insert the step. Then remove the existing edge (if any), and redraw edges to connect this new step to the steps above and below.

Publish a Workflow
After you have finished creating a first draft of your workflow, you want to run and test it. Before you do that, you need to publish your workflow. The last published version of the workflow becomes the active version.
You can make changes later and publish your workflow as many times as you want.
Workflow Version History
- Navigate to the workflow builder.
- In the top right, click the 3-dot menu, and select See Version History.
- Your previous versions will be listed in the left queue. Choose a previous version to view.
- If you wish to revert back to the version you are viewing, click edit in the top right corner. Once you click edit, your current draft will revert.
Instances
When you run a workflow, it creates a workflow instance where you can track the progress of the workflow.
The instance view shows a list of all previous workflow runs.
Each workflow instance has details of when the workflow was started and by whom and the status of each step of the workflow and overall status of the workflow.
You can see data passing through the workflow when you select a specific step in the workflow instance.
