Concierge Age Gate Feature

Within the Concierge, there is an optional feature called Age Gate that allows you to restrict access to your concierge chatbot until the user enters their birth date.

To modify these settings, go to the Age Gate section within Concierge Setup.

  1. Age Gate enable/disable toggle: Toggling this on will require you to fill out the remaining fields in order to have a functional age gate. If disabled, no age gate is enforced.
  2. Minimum Age: This is the minimum age in years someone would need to be based off of their inputted birth date and today's date to successfully get past the age gate.
  3. Maximum Age: This is an optional field, but you can also enforce a maximum age.
  4. Title Text: This is the text that will display directly underneath the logo. The default text is "Enter your birthday to continue."
  5. Submit Button Text: This is the text to display on the button to submit the birth date. The default is "Submit".
  6. Error Response: This is the response a user will get if they enter a birth date that results in an age that  does not meet the minimum or exceeds the maximum limit. The default is "You do not meet the minimum age requirement."
  7. Subtitle Text: This is the secondary text shown beneath the title text that can add additional context. The default is "You must be at least 21 years old to use this service."
  8. Logo URL: The age gate allows you to display a logo on the screen. Provide a URL to the image you want to use within this section.
